The meaning of ‘fashion’ has changed over the years, courtesy: Social Media. In a world of Instagram and OOTD, it is important to realize that fashion is much more than the reel life. Fashion is a non-linguistic code and a mere extempore expression of oneself. Semiotically scrutinizing it, fashion is a signifier of lifestyle, emotions, and attitudes. In the business of storytelling via fashion, it serves as a tool for two-way communication.
Ami Patel, a celebrity stylist, samples this by showcasing her work with renowned ladies such as Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Isha Ambani Piramal, among others. Her latest work includes styling Alia Bhatt for Gully Boy and Kalank promotions and styling Priyanka Chopra Jonas on her wedding day. Through her campaign #ItsCoolToRepeat with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, she exhibits her efforts of promoting sustainable fashion.
A renowned celebrity stylist, Ami Patel has transformed the way people view fashion through her work. She is the stylist for some of Bollywood’s most notable fashion-icons like Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt and Kangana Ranaut, to name a few.
Last year, Ami was behind the styling of two of the most talked about weddings globally – Priyanka Chopra’s and Isha Ambani’s, which catapulted her to global recognition. She has also ploughed her trade across editorials, print, and TV in addition to being one of the most sought after stylists on Instagram.
