To mark the British summer holiday season, we’re launching a brand new series: Royals in the Sun.
Unearthing rare archive of our favourite royals in tropical climes, we’ll be taking a trip down memory lane with the Windsors.
Part six shows Prince Charles and Princess Anne on safari in Kenya back in 1971.
One author has claimed that Prince Charles had a dangerously close encounter with a rhinoceros during the trip, coming face-to-face with the animal while he lay in his sleeping bag!
