Summer Celebrity Trend Alert: The Maxi Dress!

Celebs are loving their maxi dresses—and so are we! We’ve got the details on which celebrities are rocking this summer trend and a few of our favorite budget friendly picks that can help you achieve the look!
First, Pretty Little Liars Stars, Ashley Benson and Shat Mitchell were just spotting leaving LA’s hotspot, Chateau Marmont both wearing maxi dresses and leather jacket combos!
The both looked super cute—but let’s start with Shay’s look! Shay’s maxi was a vibrant teal color that had a long overlay with a shorter dress underneath!
The maxi was a little more fitted than your usual—but it looked fantastic, she paired it with silver shoes and a belt around the waist to show of her figure even more!
Next, Ash Benzo rocked a similar maxi in regards to the sheer overlay over the shorter bottom layer! Instead of hers going all the way to the floor, Ashley’s had a fun slight to give it a little more movement. She paired it with a few long necklaces and Jeffrey Campbell shoes for a very boho chic look!
And of course if it’s a trend, Rihanna is on it—she was spotted wearing a black maxi in London and this is such a classic take on the look! Her maxi was pleated with a shimmery tint—Riri paired it with bold red lips to give it a little extra flair!
And one of my favorite places to find a maxi dress is from Top Shop—they are middle of the road prices and they have all different cuts and patterns!
But my favorite one they have right now, is this basic bright red jersey maxi dress. It’s a great splash of color and because it’s so simple you can wear it tons of different ways and make it a staple in your summer wardrobe!
